Mosquito365 - Mosquito Control from Terminix Service

Mosquito Control from Terminix Service

In 2026 Terminix Service is leading the industry in smarter, safer and simpler mosquito prevention! Terminix Service now delivers Mosquito365, an advanced mosquito management solution designed for year-round protection.

Mosquitoes are a nuisance. They can carry diseases such as West Nile Virus, cause heartworms in pets, and make time outdoors miserable.

There are no firm start or stop dates for mosquito activity in our region. Our seasons and weather are inconsistent and unpredictable. Mosquitoes can appear any time temperatures rise and the sun is shining!

The Challenges of Traditional Mosquito Control

Traditionally, pest control companies use a backpack sprayer or similar device to mist the resting areas in which mosquitoes live. While this has proven to be effective in reducing mosquito populations, it also has some drawbacks:

  1. Reliant on warmer weather.
  2. Can be diminished with rainfall.
  3. Can be carried to non-target areas with heavy wind.
  4. Doesn't provide protection from the neighbors' mosquitoes.
  5. Requires monthly application, but only during certain months.
  6. It is only performed seasonally but some seasons may extend unexpectedly.
  7. If misapplied, it could affect honeybees, other pollinators, wildlife and pets.

How Mosquito365 Changes Mosquito Control

Good news…Terminix Service now offers and upgraded service that relieves all the challenges listed above!

Because this is a quarterly service, there will be no need for scheduling monthly mosquito-only services. For customers with Terminix quarterly pest control, we will align their mosquito control service to be provided at the same time. Every quarter, they will have one appointment, one PMP, and both services completed at the same time!

Rather than providing service only during certain months of the year, Mosquito365 will be present all the time…working quietly ahead of the summer and late into the warm fall we so often experience. Best of all, it requires no monthly maintenance!

What to Expect When Starting Mosquito365 Service

Terminix will do the following when starting the new Mosquito365 service:

  • Inspect the property and identify any vulnerable areas for mosquito activity and breeding sites that can be eliminated or treated with an Insect Growth Regulator
  • Make recommendations to enhance the control of mosquitoes
  • Strategically place stations around the property that will work 365 days a year and be serviced on a quarterly basis
  • Additionally, we provide the most trusted name in termite and pest control, Terminix Service, which now provides the strongest mosquito management solution on the market, backed by the Terminix Guarantee!

We will place mosquito stations at strategic locations with the greatest impact on mosquito activity, especially near breeding grounds. The technology in each station will affect only mosquitoes and eliminate them from the yard. The contents in the stations used have no effect on people, pets or wildlife that may get into them. Furthermore, it can also affect mosquitoes from adjacent properties.

Extra Protection When You Need It Most

There may still be occasions when we need to provide a quick knockdown for a special outdoor event or for an area with a very high mosquito presence. We will happily provide this when necessary. All you have to do is ask.

Mosquito365 is designed to provide the strongest protection, the best value and the simplest treatment plan. New and upgraded service plans will cost the same as, or often less than, traditional service. Imagine enjoying year-round protection from mosquitoes without the hassle of scheduling monthly appointments or worrying about unexpected weather conditions. Terminix has you covered!

Mosquito365 FAQs

How long does it take for Mosquito365 to start working?

Results may take up to two weeks after the initial station placement, although some customers notice a reduction in mosquito activity in as little as five days.

Will Mosquito365 eliminate all mosquitoes in my yard?

No mosquito management service can eliminate 100 percent of mosquitoes. Mosquito365 is designed to significantly reduce mosquito populations and create a more pleasant outdoor experience, though occasional mosquitoes may still appear.

What happens if heavy rain fills or overflows the mosquito stations?

Heavy rainfall does not reduce the stations' effectiveness. They are designed to withstand rain and continue working as intended.

Do mosquito stations attract more mosquitoes to my yard?

The stations act as a potential egg-laying site for female mosquitoes, but they do not contain added attractants. They help interrupt the mosquito life cycle rather than draw in new populations.

What if a mosquito station is damaged or dries out?

If a station becomes damaged, depleted of water, or completely dry, Terminix Service will repair, replace, or replenish it as needed to maintain effectiveness.
