The South Carolina Gamecocks welcomed the Florida Gators to Founders Field for a three-game series this past weekend. The Gamecocks earned a series sweep with three hard-fought victories. Leading the way for the Gamecocks was sophomore catcher Colin Burgess, who had a game-winning double in the 14th inning on Friday night and a home run in Sunday’s 8-5 victory. Burgess’ strong performance earned him the Terminix Pest Player of the Week.
