Terminix Service, Inc., the largest pest control company in the Carolinas, is pleased to announce that veteran technician David Hubbard of North Augusta, S.C. has been named the 2022 Technician of the Year by the South Carolina Pest Control Association (SCPCA).
The distinguished annual award is designed to honor the achievements of the pest control industry’s finest service professionals.

Hubbard is a veteran pest professional with a strong record of serving customers in his 27-year career with Terminix Service, Inc. A resident of North Augusta, S.C., Hubbard currently serves as a branch supervisor and possesses deep expertise in pest issues commonly found in the warm South Carolina climate.
“I feel blessed for 27 years with Terminix Service,” said David Hubbard, technician at the North Augusta Branch. “This company has allowed me to build a career and work with and for some great people.”
Hubbard was nominated by Terminix North Augusta Branch Manager Tim Brown, who described Hubbard as a true service professional who goes above and beyond to help others.
“Dave is a role model for others and the epitome of what our industry entails,” said North Augusta Branch Manager Tim Brown. “I couldn’t be more proud to work with Dave and celebrate him and this much-deserved recognition.”
Nominations were received from pest control companies across the state. To be eligible, candidates must have met the following criteria:
-minimum of five years in the industry.
-participation in industry educational meetings.
-exhibit excellence in safety, customer relations, and leadership skills.
-active in community service.
-employed by a member of the SCPCA in good standing
