The South Carolina Gamecocks traveled to Athens recently for a three-game series against the University of Georgia. The Gamecocks won two out of three games over the Bulldogs, including a 5-1 victory on Sunday behind the strong pitching of freshman Will Sanders. Sanders threw eight innings with four strikeouts, which earned him co-SEC Freshman of the Week, along with being recognized as Terminix’s Pest Player of the Week.
